: I did a variety of things: paid for their hair and makeup for the day of, plus got them necklace and earrings to wear. But these are more like presents that are FOR the wedding, not FOR them. So I got them two nice candle tins, a luxurious hand cream in a little tub, and a straw purse to put it all in (perfect for my California oceanside wedding) (the candles are "ocean" smell and the hand cream has little shells on the lid). Other great ideas I saw include: : * an engraved or jeweled lipstick case (the kind with the mirror inside) : * engraved mirror compact for purse : * gift certs to their favorite store...ie. a BM who loves to read might love a Borders gift card : * cute business card holder - engraved : * a nice mini photo album (Kolo makes really neat ones) with pics of the two of you together and room for some more from the wedding : * a nice letter telling them how much your friendship means to them : * basket filled with goodies I think is always a good gift... lotions, bubble bath, etc! : * Pajamas : * a coffee table book that pertains to each person's interest : * a magazine subscription : * a spa day (or a gift certificate to a spa near them) : * a beautiful picture frame with an IOU for a picture from the wedding : * a gym bag with their initials embroidered on it : * a basket with assorted goodies (candles, stationery, lotion, etc) : * offer to buy their dress or shoes : * silver desk clocks engraved with their name and the date : * really fun frames engraved : * engraved money clips : * mongrammed silk jewelry rolls : * monogramed jewelry boxes : * www.wishbowl.com <http://www.wishbowl.com> has these gorgeous hand painted bowls : Good luck deciding.
